Synergy Health has purchased SRI/Surgical Express for approximately $25m through a cash tender offer followed by a short-form merger of Synergy Health's subsidiary, SHM Acquisition

SRI said at the effective time of the merger, shares of common stock held by its remaining shareholders who did not tender their shares in the tender offer were cancelled and converted into the right to receive the same $3.70 per share price.

Synergy Health provides outsourced sterilization services to the hospitals and other healthcare providers as well as offer healthcare linen, pathology and specialist laboratory services.

SRI, which serves hospitals and surgery centers, is involved in providing central processing and supply chain management services to hospitals and surgery centers across the US.
