ZeaVision has launched a new EyePromise Zeaxanthin + Lutein Macular Pigment Formula to improve visual function and lessen discomfort on bright sunny days.

The new formula, which increases macular pigment density through all-natural ingredients, includes 10mg of dietary Zeaxanthin and 10mg of Lutein.

ZeaVision president Chris Barber said macular pigment plays an important role in protecting photo receptors.

"Dense macular pigment (dietary Zeaxanthin and Lutein) protect like internal sunglasses and block harmful blue light that can damage our eyes," Barber added.

In many clinical studies, the dietary Zeaxanthin was shown to improve visual function, such as ability to see objects against a similar background, read printed material in low light conditions and minimize glare at night.
