Passion, desire, drive, guts, discipline and most importantly, heart. This is the recipe for a boxing warrior - and what makes Zack Mwekassa a force to be reckoned with. Boxing is perhaps the most challenging sport of all. It requires a unique blend of speed, endurance and strength, and a true champion needs to possess a mind that is as tough as the body.

Mwekassa, also known as "The Crazy Warrior", is ranked as the No. 29 cruiserweight in the world. This skillful gladiator fights with incredible focus and resolve. He is the embodiment of force and tactical precision and his powerful punches are soon to become the stuff of legends.

Zack took on a lethal foe in the first round of the Super 8 "Last Man Standing" Tournament on the 16th June. Up against Tsepang Mohale, two-times South African champion with a reputation of knocking out 90% of his opponents, Mwekassa sent him to the dust with one forceful blow after just 1 minute, 21 seconds. This was recorded as the Knockout of the Week, and confirmed Mwekassa as the victor for the first round, sending him in to the semi finals.

When asked on his cut-throat triumph, Zack said, "From experience I have learnt not to underestimate any of my foes and to always put 120% effort in my preparations. I was ready for a long and tough fight, but I knew I would break him" The Crazy Warrior certainly sent Mohale thundering to the ground!

Mwekassa's proud sponsor, CrazyVegas.TV is thrilled to be sponsoring this boxing force. They have been sponsoring local talent for some time now and their hopes for Zack's success are high. Trevor Penn, Manager and spokesperson for CrazyVegas.TV had this to say, "We are ecstatic at Zack's wonderful success in the last fight against Mohale, but certainly not surprised. In one split second and one Crazy Warrior strike, unlucky opponents will drop in defeat at Zack's hand. We are beyond excited for his next match and have utter faith in him!"

Zack was born in Democratic Republic of the Congo - a country suffering from civil war and plight. This soldier of fortune soon realized his immense talent for boxing and through hard work, purpose and passion; he has been relentlessly working towards this moment ever since. Currently residing in Johannesburg, South Africa, Zack Mwekassa has made quite a name for himself, famous for being "the most dangerous cruiserweight Africa has ever seen." He hopes to represent the DRC and show the world that despite the countries faults, the DRC has talented and devoted athletes who are ready to take the world by storm.

The next fight is the Super 8 "Last Man standing" Semi-Final, taking place at Emperors Palace on the 22nd September, in which Zack will take on the former South African as well as all African cruiserweight champion, Thabiso Mchunu. Mwekassa has a history with this formidable opponent when they fought last September. Thabiso had 194 wins out of 200 amateur fights under his victory belt, and stood undefeated in 9 professional fights. The Crazy Warrior pulled the rug from under Mchunu's feet when he handed him his first loss of his professional career after 5 terrific and nail-biting rounds.
